connecting audiences intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually to science

About Redshift Productions

“Not since the Big Bang has physics been so explosive." --offoffonline.com

Redshift's mission stems from the belief that everyone has a stake in the scientific endeavor. Using the arts to foster a conversation between scientists and the public, Redshift creates opportunities to explore the unique understanding of the universe and its inhabitants that science can provide.

Using the arts as a means of communication, Redshift provides opportunities for scientists to share their work, and for the public to explore the universe through the unique perspective of science. Redshift Productions was founded in 2000 by Max Evjen and Megan Halpern. They have written, directed and produced several projects including Elements, Galileo: The Emotional Life of a Spacecraft, Happy Hour at the Event Horizon.

Redshift projects have been featured in Natural History Magazine, TimeOUT New York, and on CBS Sunday Morning and ABC News Nightline.
